About the role

Our Water and Sewer Team recently underwent a reinvigoration resulting in a new Water and Sewer structure to be implemented over the next two years.  The new structure aims provide the best possible service for our community and achieve best practice in water and sewer service delivery.  We are currently searching for a leader to champion and implement this exciting change.

A key member of Council's leadership team, you will actively collaborate to manage Singleton Council, within the scope of the Community Strategic Plan, Delivery Program and Operational Plan.  Overall, you will be responsible for the leadership and management of staff and resources for the effective and efficient achievement of provision of Water and Sewer in the Singleton LGA, within Council's Annual Management Plan, annual budget, approved levels of service and long term financial planning.

Tertiary qualifications in Civil Engineering or similar qualifications or equivalent experience, coupled with a leadership style which fosters innovative and collaborative practices, will be key to your success in this role.
