About the role
As part of our continuous improvement program, we have recently created a single business unit that will plan, operate and maintain an integrated open space, facilities and recreational network the community desires.
A unique opportunity is now available for a passionate Parks Management Officer who will be responsibe for the implementation of maintenance and capital works programs for the parks and recreation areas across council. This role will be responsible for the coordination of staff and contractors to deliver maintenance activities and capital works in a safe and timely manner.
Proven successful experience and skill in the area of stakeholder engagement is a must. Your ability to be flexible and adapt to all the challenges thrown your way in this new and exciting role will be key to your success.

What’s on offer
The position is offered on a permanent full time basis, working 35 hours per week and is placed at Grade 12 of the salary system. An attractive remuneration package including a generous car allowance and superannuation is on offer between $98,393 to $108,668.
